Apply now to win a fully-funded scholarship for the Oxford Farming Conference Scholars Programme 2024/2025.
If you are aged 18-30, involved in the Agricultural Industry, live/work or study in Norfolk, and have not previously attended The Oxford Farming Conference, then you are able to enter the Norfolk Scholar Competition courtesy of The Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association.
The competition offers FIVE winners the opportunity to be named as Norfolk’s Farming Scholars and be at the epicentre of all agriculture’s pressing issues at the start of 2025.
The Scholars Programme and conference provides a great opportunity to participate in discussions surrounding the key topics affecting the Agricultural industry and to gain personal and professional development as future leaders of UK agriculture.
As well as full attendance, accommodation and meals at the Oxford Farming Conference (Wednesday 8 – Friday 10 January 2025), successful applicants for the Scholars Programme will be invited and expected to attend:
- Introductory informal webinar to meet and greet 2025 Scholar cohort and receive an overview of the programme (date TBC).
- One-day in-person event in London on Monday 21 October 2024, in collaboration with McDonalds. The agenda will include an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion workshop, and a social media training workshop.
- An online interactive webinar in November/December 2024 (date TBC).
- In-person leadership and communications training on Wednesday 8 January 2025.

Applications close on FRIDAY 30 AUGUST 2024.
Successful applicants will be notified by Thursday 5 September 2024 and interviews will take place via TEAMS week commencing 9 September 2024 (date TBC).
The winners will receive a scholarship to the Scholars programme which includes a free three-day ticket to the conference with accommodation and meals.
Travel expenses for the away day in London in November and also the Oxford Farming Conference will not be provided by the RNAA and will be the responsibility of the applicant.
Successful applicants must be willing to work with our marketing team pre and post event to share their experience of the programme and conference so that the RNAA can share these valuable insights with our wider network; this may include speaker and networking events.
