Caroline had been the driving force behind LEAF and a good friend to the RNAA.

We are saddened to learn of the death of Caroline Drummond MBE Chief Executive of LEAF, after a short illness. For years Caroline had been the driving force behind LEAF and a good friend to the RNAA.

The following is a statement issued by LEAF:

Caroline was an inspiration, and it is her passion, determination, foresight and energy that has transformed LEAF from its small beginnings 30 years ago to the globally recognised and respected organisation it is today.

There are no words to express how much Caroline will be missed within LEAF and the farming industry; but most deeply by her family.

We know you will join with us in extending our heartfelt condolences.

The Late Geoffrey Burrows

A self-taught painter Geoffrey Burrows, who has died aged 89, was a successful exhibitor at the Royal Norfolk Show’s art show for four decades.
A figurative painter in oil and watercolour, he was born in St Faith’s, near Norwich, and went to Paston Grammar School, North Walsham. He became a telecommunications engineer and then a BT manager in 1991. He lived in Spixworth and took up painting after attending an art class at Sprowston School.
He began serious painting in the late 1960s and was soon exhibiting in London and further afield.
